boardwalk with the construction of a new viewing platform and viewing shelter adjacent to the refurbished moat. The ‘open paddock’ area has five 10m high ‘climbing structures’ made out of structural steel and timber. The project has a stainless steel mesh ‘aviary’ structure which forms the separation enclosure to house the chimpanzees.
