The Tunnel Control Centre consists of two buildings comprising the three storey Control Centre and a single level Maintenance Centre. The buildings provide 24 hour operations for the Cross City Tunnel.
Lipman implemented stringent safety, environmental and quality controls throughout the construction phase. Third party external audits, together with Lipman’s internal audits, confirmed the effectiveness of these control systems.
The Tunnel Control Centre was completed on time and within budget, allowing tenants to occupy the buildings with adequate preparation time for the opening of the Cross City Tunnel.
