project description: Parramatta Courthouse project involved the complete upgrade and refurbishment of the existing Courthouse building that was constructed during the 70's, which included the installation of 4 new lifts, four new holding cells and two refurbished holding cells, upgrade to existing services, upgrade of the building fire systems to current day BCA standards and a new fitout to 90% of the existing building. Externally. the project involved the installation of a new structural steel roof over the existing concrete roof. The new roof was finished with a stainless stell feature capping to the perimeter and Alucobond cladding to the soffit of the eaves. Extensive repairs were also made to the existing precast concrete facade.
