project description:
The project consisted of the upgrade of the Western Grandstand at Penrith Stadium. The improvements included adding additional structural steel to the existing stand, a new media facility, extending the western stand incorporating a new 3 level structure, which included a 300 person function centre and new player amenities and gymnasium on the ground floor. A new concourse, with an additional 2,700 seats was also constructed. Finally, the playing surface was renewed, including the installation of irrigation, subsoil drainage, new field lighting and the construction of a 140,000 litre retention tank for use on the field of play.
